Top Ten
Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish Every week a new top ten list is given
for consideration and participation. ^_^ This week’s topic is top ten is books
I hope Santa brings. While any book from this list will do I have put them in
the order of importance for me. ^_^ Just in case he's reading this.
1. The Infernal Devices (both books) byCassandra Clare: Granted I own them both on e-book but there’s nothing like
the smell of good book paper. ^_^ And of course the sexy men on the cover aren’t
a hardship either.
2. The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins:
This is another set I own in e-book.
When a book is good enough I need the physical copies for my shelf of
love.
3. The Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan:
I don’t own any of these yet. I haven’t read any of them either but everyone
says they’re awesome books. I would even accept E copies.
4. Soul Screamers Volume 1 by Rachel Vincent:
Hello gorgeous cover. There are other reasons I want this. An awesome author
and story are another reason.
5. Forget You by Jennifer Echols: Every
time I go to buy this book it’s not in stock. It’s rather annoying. After I read the e book I’ve been determined
to own it with no luck. What is the world coming to?
6. The Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne:
Yes, okay fine. The series isn’t done yet, but I want to see those shiny
awesome books on my shelf. They’re so worth the re-reading again and again and
again.
7. Saints Astray by Jacqueline Carey: I’ve
read the first one and loved it immediantly. I have not yet had ANY opportunity
to read the second one. The characters were so awesome the first time around I
can’t pass up a second.
8. Winter’s Shadow by M.J. Hearle: I have waited
PATIENTLY for this Aussie book to be released in the US. It has not. >_<
Perhaps Santa can bring it faster than I can pay thirty dollars for
international shipping.
9. King Raven Series by Steven R. Lawhead:
I’ve been meaning to read these since the first one came out. Maybe if I
actually had the books I’d have a better chance of that? ^_^
10. Mortal Instruments Series by CassandraClare: Yes. That is right. I don’t physically own any of these books. I
electronically own them. However, there’s something about holding a book in
your hand that makes it all the more delicious. ^_^
I have read all of the Percy Jackson books, and the spin-off books and they are amazing. I need to start owning them as well!
ReplyDeleteGreat top ten! I really hope you get some of these books (especially the Cassie Clare books and The Hunger Games series)! :)
